Get TV Smart

Want to know how to push my buttons?

Wave your hand into the TV camera while I’m doing a live interview, that’s how!

That has to be my biggest pet peeve. There is absolutely no reason to do that unless you’re a child…or an undergraduate student at a college football game. I think that waving to the camera or any other hand gesture is sophomoric and amateurish. In fact, if I’m interviewing someone and he does that, or someone happens to walk behind him and wave to the camera or do obnoxious “rabbit ears”, I won’t even use that video. It literally ends up on the cutting room floor…and he never gets the media attention he was hoping for. The way you get to be on TV is by becoming media savvy.

After lots of requests, I have finally written my book, “Get TV Smart: 7 Insider Secrets To Being A Confident & Compelling Guest on Television.” In it, I share with you my more than 15-years of on-air experience such as how to be a consummate professional while also being an outstanding spokesperson for yourself, your book, or your product.

It’s so important for you to make a good first impression on TV. Presentation is everything! In Get TV Smart, I give you numerous examples of what to do and what NOT to do in front of a television camera. In fact, I share with you the amazing story of one of my clients, Carrie Ann, who out-of-the-blue got called to be on a popular, national morning news show the next day. She expected to be on-air for only a five minute segment, but after being coached by me the night before, she was so dynamic that the producers had her on-set throughout the entire four hour show! How cool is that?

Getting on TV is great. Getting on TV again and again, as an expert, is even better! And like with any new skill, it takes knowledge and practice to master. So, Get TV Smart and become a TV celebrity guest. Visit www.GetTVSmart.com for more information.

And remember when you get that call to appear on national TV, whatever you do, don’t wave into the camera, and say “Hi, Ms. Alice!” Instead, how about this? Simply pull on your ear like Carol Burnett and I’ll know you’re really TV Smart!

To your shining in the spotlight,
